It is freezing rocks off the ground and darkness has already set in. In the city there is not a person to be seen. I walk into the alley, I know it by heart because I come there almost weekly. It is the early eighties, the first punk scene is as good as dead and other figures are appearing or they are the same but in different guises. I myself am still floating somewhere in between. I arrive at the building and the stones suggest that it must have been or will be an important building. Now it is rented out because the unused space would bring in some money. The windows and doors are boarded up and lined with aluminum sheets from the hardware store. I open the door and a dense fog of electronic sounds, beats and screeching guitars race through my ears like a tornado. My blood sucks the noise toward the brain. In that moment, my brain subsystems are shot to flutter.
It is that feeling that I want to bring back in my way now more than forty years later in the atmosphere of today, with sounds of then and today, with a simplistic minimum of lyrics and vocals, but which must still contain some content, even if not everyone will be able to grasp its meaning.
